Sweet, thanks for that, i fitted apes on the weekend, and now ive got no 'Go'........i broke the pointy bit on that wire and it keeps throwing the breaker but not the starter (discovered this about 5mins ago)....so i assume ive got a short....so should of spent more time wiring it neat, instead of rushing to get it done........back to the shed. Cheers.

After finding my problem, and consulting with KiwiDave via this thread, i traced my problem back to a broken/pinched white wire at the switch block. turns out i pinched it while attempting to mount switch blocks.....so i had to pull them apart, was worried because previous to know ive only really delved into jap switch blocks......well let me tell you, HD have got their shit together....lots of room to move, 1 screw......no miniture birds nest.....fixed in minutes and problem solved.

Plus i now have an even better understanding of my wiring situation. Beers a*l r*****d!..............aahh can someone loan me a tenna?(edited just in case)
