R.I.P.  Andy Whitfield ......star of Spartacus has died of cancer......i loved that show, the cinema effects, or however one can explain it where excellent, and so is the show, and to think he was so fit and healthy looking......DAMN IT !!

Sunday he died I believe.  Most stars strike me as obnoxious, though he seemed really down to earth and probably a good bloke.  An Aussie too.

By the way..... he is welsh. Only lived in Australia from 1999 for careeer purposes.

Dont get me wrong..... great actor..... the series WAS him, but he wasn't "australian"....another "austra alien".
