I've had a 95 kit sitting here for about a year. Barrels, pistons, rings etc. I should get on with it

I was wondering what cams to use.

Don't wanna muck about with the heads but would like a bigger lift, more power and so on.

    Can anyone advise me?

The bike is a 99 lowrider that is generally ridden one up. It doesn't have all the wizz bang new stuff like exhaust sensors etc.

I know I've gotta change the jigger that controls the rev limiter but that's all I know.

    Thanks for your suggestions.

mate ,if ya dont wont head work ull have to go bolt in cam ,around 500 lift .theres plenty of choice but with a 99 you should go camgears .SS510,or one of the andrews like the 36 theres plenty of advisors on forum so youii get advice get good wrencher as the early tc88 had bearing failures thats why i reckon gears i had 99 tc88 went camgears but had heads ,and perform parts with 585 ss camgears ,mikuni, ist ignitin .good pipes atc went great but cost alot with bolt in u get better bang for bucks spent .good luck

OK Fellas. Thanks for the advise. More confused now but that's not hard to do.

Looks like I need to research this a bit more.  As far as budget is concered, I don't really have one. Need to finish some other projects first. (Damn vintage cars)

That's why the 95 kit has been sitting here all this time. Not in a hurry anyway, the bike still runs well and is a treat to ride.
