Howdy All,

Thinking of getting a new Rocker C and was wondering if anyone here already deposited one? If so, what's the ETA?

Saw the Rocker today at Harley Heaven here in Melbourne. Looks even better in real life! What do you guys think of it?
I am tossing betwee the new Rocker C and the Fat boy. What are your thoughts on these?

Yeh, Put a deposit down in August and the only info I've got is from Ratsmow (thanks mate) saying HD Guy at the Brisbane realease last week mentioned March!!!

I make it a rule not to buy the first relase of a new model (Car or Bike). Been a ginuea pig too many times and been burned. If it's not coming out until March you might as well wait until the 09 model which will have a lot of the teething problems solved.

Well from what I've been told, the HD will begin Rocker production in early January with first deliveries scheduled to come downunder in March. If I put my deposit down on one right now, it won't come in till September next year. (bloody long wait).

I am now really tossing between the Fat Boy, the Rocker C and may be the Softail Custom.  I would also love the Heartland rear fender kit! (http://www.heartlandbiker.com/200ezconversion.shtml)

Unfortunately the Deuce was sold last friday. (damn, only few days ago). 
So I guess you gave up waiting and got yourself a Deuce instead of the Rocker C? Can I have your spot in the queue? Did you get your deposit back?

My deposit went in here in Perth about July 17 from memory. As of 3 weeks back the ETA was Dec but maybe Jan.

I am lucky enough to own a bike now so I'm not as stressed out as the guys with no bike! However, if it really does stretch out until March then I too would be looking for an 09 model instead. 

 

 

 

The deuce with 250 conversion is still there at Bikepoint. But I really can't afford 50k! I would also prefer to do my own mods over time.
I wonder why HD discont'd the Deuce. l reckon it's one of the best looking softails!

Just got the latest Heavy Duty Mag with a pretty glowing report on the Rockers but that Standard model doesn't really do it for me!!!

I'd stick to what's tried and tested, i.e The Fatboy. However the quality of Harley lately is top notch, you shouldn't get a problem with The Rocker. Out of the new models I like the New Dyna with two head lights.
