Hi guys, does anyone know anything about these aftermarket (18.9 ltr) fuel tanks for the pre 2006 V-Rods.  It seems from my internet searching that there are two options, the Ultimate Engineering option from the States and the Ricks Tank from Germany.  After reading what i could i had decided on the Ricks Tank from Germany but then found the price to purchase was 665 Euro's.  Now the Aussie dollar is doing great but thats still, as time of posting this, $882 AUD without postage..............

Any thoughts, comments would be appreciated.

Hey mate i just purchased from the states an Ultimate Engineering Tank took me all of about 10 hrs from scratch to put together

i went with this tank because of the volume of fuel it holds nearly 22 ltrs were the other tank from ricks only holds 18.9 ltrs theres alot more stuffing around with mods but the instructions you get are really simple to follow....if you need anymore help or photos i'll be more than happy to help you out....cheers

Hi mate, thanks for the response.  I have still not done anything so am interested in your tank (22 ltrs is huge compared to the others).  I see you mention 'this tank' but not sure what it is (was there a link?).  Would appreciate the details and if you do have pics that would be great - maybe we can email directly? Cheers Andrew.
