Im putting my oilpump back together and got some bits mixed up. Its off a 93 evo and ive got the 2 springs mixed up there is a stronger one and a weaker one. Ive put the weaker one on top of the ball bearing and the other one pushing a sleeve plunger type thing .I havnt run it I thought Id better check first. The manual has a drawing but its no help, the manual does say dont mix the bits up I must have missed that bit when I first read it.

It's a man thing, hope you find out soon. How did it look, did you find a fault.

As I am smarter than any manual I tend to pull things apart and then try to remember how they were in the first place.

Meanwhile the digital camera sits inside mocking me "youll be sorry"

I try to take pics now of everything I break.....sorry repair, if I get it right and the bike works I can delete from the computer, if not I can go back to the pics and argue my design

Edit: Yeah yeah yeah I forgot to take pics of how the back of the ignition switch came off. Shut up I wont do it again

the tigher spring or closer winding spring has the check valve ball ,...tube closer to the motor

the wider curled spring has the bypass valve ...that goes in the tube to the outer side
