If the cops managed to get my number plate but did'nt clock me with a radar etc are they still able to do much??

Also if they have'nt instructed me to stop or speak with them (e.g. they are too busy trying to get the plate down) and I then take off can I get busted for "fail to stop" or evading Police etc??

Any genuine advice appreciated! Adrenalin is still pumping hard.

    Ps.....

JD - Sorry to have to ditch you mate, but those coppers were a fraction keen on the old SuperGlide, last I saw they were slamming the paddy wagon in reverse and trying to turn around. Did they chase after me hard or did they come back and have a chat with you?

Simo - what the hell happenned to you? I needed someone too distract the cops mate!

Prove it officer :D......going the other way? relative speed to other vehicle? estimate?

I'd say at best you may get a knock on the door with a stern warning. Oh, and they may keep an eye out for the bike.......

    But what do I know.......

    Cheers

Fuckin' nuts Hoodaman. Seriously fucking nuts.

I just did'nt respect the sound that this bike puts out plus I've gotta' stop fanging it - its a cruiser - a lover not a fighter!

(Double clutching her through the reds down the mainstreet in Kings Cross is slightly attention grabbing)

You are worried about nothin superglide, if they seriously wanted ya they woulda got ya. But then again I've had a few beers and they didn't get my number, so my advice is hide under the bed until you think its safe to come out.

Yeah thanks lads, I hope & reckon your right.
I guess it's just that I have'nt been pinged on the bike before (car's I've lost my licence 4 times) & when they pulled up I had the feeling they were a bit scared about pulling me over, and then when they started panicking and scribbling shit down I started thinking about those parking police that just take a photo of your number plate and send you a ticket - thought there may be that kinda' underhanded stuff going on.

BUT, I agree, if they were going to nab me they would have just come in all lights ablaze and yelling at me and if I then started to take off they'd worry about writing plates down etc.

(If/when "JD" logs in he may have a lot more to add)

PS. I'm on my fourth beer now and starting to feel pretty cocky bout' the whole thing anyway            <"knock knock on the door">

    Heya mate.

First up - Sorry I missed all this. Got keen trying to drag you at the lights, then got lost in a bloody maze of one way streets and dead end alley ways.

Sounds like you've got away, but just try chill out for a while now. Have you had the pipes sound tested? Any idea what they're raking in?

Speaking of which - just saw the accountant, tax man is taking me for an absolute ride. Pipes may have to come next month (bugger).

if they got your rego the only thing that might be a worry would be a summons in the mail.... and it won't be for speeding if you get my drift

that cop followed us for a fell kms was funny because we were cruising along then you gave it a bit of a hit the sound off the buildings where very good but dont think the cops liked it to much. Couldnt follow you because I kept them held up at the side street they werent happy that i slowed them down but what can they do
