I want to find a cheap monitor for TTS, has anyone have a setup up or ideas for something like this?

Hi Dave, got myself a Lilliput 8" USB Touch Screen Monitor UM-80/C/T from ebay. works quite well. Sorry I haven't got any pictures for you. Will need to figure a better way to mount it so it's more in the line of sight than I have it at the moment.

Originally had the syncmaster U70 7", but the old eyes aren't what they used to be with such a small screen. Surprisingly 8" screen made a big difference, & the touch screen is a real bonus.

I believe you would have this sorted by now but I just use a EEE Pc with a bungie cord around my tank, works great the older models in the 7inch screen (i think from memory) would be dirt cheap by now,

I have installed the Samsung SyncMaster U70 USB LCD monitor 7 inch on my sled above the handlebar clamp. I had to modify the monitor as the original "one" screw hole holding fixture did not appeal to me as being secure enough.

I have sikaflex-ed the back of the monitor to a 4mm thick ally plate approximately the same dimensions as the monitor then with the use of after market 1" handlebar clamps and spacer pieces, afixed this to the handlebar above the handlebar clamp, this set up allows me to angle the monitor to optimum viewing angle.

The monitor its self is sufficient for the job, actually better then sufficient as it is a vast improvement of riding "blind" doing TTS V-tune runs on a guess best as hoping that I have collected enough hits in all RPM and TPS cells. The monitor was no trouble configuring to laptop running MS XP and the colour screen is OK although it would not matter what screen you have, in direct sunlight they are all poor performers.

Suffice to say that this was an installation I should have carried out when I first commenced doing V-tune runs, big time saver.
