Fellas, any more long term feedback? I've noticed my rear tyre on my Road King is starting to show the tread wear indicator. Disappointingly it's only done 20.000k's (actually, that's not bad in comparison to my Deluxe). I'm considering the Michelin Commander 11 but geez they are expensive. http://motorcycle.michelin.com.au/twproduct/findProduct/moreProduct/316
$341.30 for a rear and $262.60 for a front. How do the Dunlops' compare in price?

I'm at 6k now and still no uneven wear. They go well on my day to day commute in all weathers. They are quiet an I've got used to the strange side wall writing. They could be better visually if the side walls were smooth without the pattern.
Happy that I was talked into them

Baloffski, I'll let you know shortly. Although I am OK with the stock Dunlops, and there is a little bit of tread left, there is a massive flat spot on my rear tyre. My front tyre goes woop, woop, woop at low speed, and they have done 20,000k's. I was dissapointed at the prices they wanted for the Dunlops, the Michelins were about $150 cheaper (delivered), and I have heard good things about Michelins...

have just worn out the rear original dunlop on the 2013 flhtcu (16700km) and was going to fit a michi commander but I heard they pulled the ad that says 40k+ and they are around $345 + fitting from a motorcycle warehouse in brisbane so I ended up fitting a new dunlop american elite for about 80 bucks cheaper + fitting and have done just over a thousand k so far this morning and couldnt be happier as for the handling goes as for the length of K's will have to get back to you.

Just need to give a plug for the guys at the tyre warehouse If anyones chasing good service and prices try these guys out save me from a shit weekend in brissy could not get the oldest harley dealer to supplie and fit a tyre to my ride on a saturday morning I know its short notice and all but I have all the bullshit like 24/7 roadside assist and 2 yr warranty harley insurance and not to mention the HOG member but nun of this matters was told would not be able to fit you in for two weeks thats the service you dont expect from a well know HARLEY DEALER.

in the last two months I have done approx 17500km around australia and have drop in a few dealers most have been more than accomadating with thing I have required along the ride namely services got one done at GASOLINE ALLEY in between brissy and the goldy on the way home then another done at HARLEY HEAVEN in Adelaide both places done the service in a timely manner and were very helpfull to boot.

    so heres the plug

    Hi,

Sorry, i mean you would use them again?

Out of the US there is a bit of mixed review on the commander2, and what psi you have in them

    Thanks

Yes I would fit them again. As long as you ride accordingly in the wet (and who wouldn't)

Now with almost 35k on them

The rear is starting to square off a bit. I'll replace it before 40k ata aguess

    Front looks new

    Hello all

    Thought I'd post an update.

I'm now somewhere around the 38,500km mark and will be replacing the rear tomorrow for another commander II. The front still looks very fresh.

Its only just at the tread wear marker but as you can see I have a little guest poking out so I figured why pay $80 for a repair when I can get a new hoop for $250

I've lost track of the kms, but I'm a michelin convert now. Fronts are bearley scuffed and the rear is still great, squaring a little, but its my daily ride. I must be well over 15k kms.
    Will use them again.

That is great klm. Just replaced my street glide tyres again, got just short of 18k again from the std Dunlops. Shame there is no fitment of Michelin for mine.
