Mate!.............I'd love to believe this is true..............but as they say...........if it sounds too good to be true.......it generally is!

Interested to see what tyre sizes they make ................no doubt, probably fuck all in 16"...like everyone else!!!!

Still......... if they do make one to fit the Fatbob, I'd be keen to try it out. Can't imagine the grip would be anywhere near the Metz, but I only get around 7K outa the Metz.

Might be worth the extra mileage if the grip is not too bad..........like I said, be keen to try one out!

in my opinion Michelin don't have a great range for cruisers.... so I'm not expecting any great change to the range. Certainly don't currently have 160/17 17"

yeah interested to hear how it handles cold, wet etc. Dont really give too much care about mileage unless get silly on race type stickies - more concerend it will do the job and the old saying was "stick or wear - your choose"?

Been away a long while but popped back in - g'day all.

I would be a bit concerned about a tyre hard enough to get 40k on a heavy touring bike and in any event there are plenty of five year old bikes that haven't done 40k km yet.

This would mean the tyre is shot whether it is worn out or not.

I have gotten ~20k km out of the dunlops and certainly wouldn't want anything twice as hard.

    cheers

Try the Dunlop E3 elite made for the honda leadwings modern designed with heaps better mileage and handles great.

What is the decision on the Mitchelin Commander II tyres?   Are they as good as Mitchelin says they are in the wet and do they last for 40k??

How about in the wet mate , let us all know how they go hey ?
Dunlop 408 and 408F have been a great allround tyre , 20k out of a set with still some to go on the front , second set going good so far !
