Had a renegade front wheel fitted to my 2007 softail FXST and it now seems to have allighnment issues is it rectified with axle spacers or do you
have to shim out the disc calliper and help would be appreciated seems to be offset and rubbing on the rotor.
G day Hilly the rim was for that model and axle size the spacers are the stock ones and they are on the rite way all inoticed is tonight front brake
pads fairly worn and has pushed the pistons out causing it to rub a fair bit ,
only other thing i found out is the 07 had a off set due to fat 200 rear tyre may be the renegade rim is to true whe its allighned but i have never
noticed the outer brake pad push in that far hope that will help.
Thanks Hilly taking over to mates machine shop see if he can measure and make some spacers cheers .
ALL good now had to shim calliper slightly to line disc in the centre of brake pads just be warey when fitting aftermarket rims that all your measurments are true before riding otherwise you will end up with a score brake disc and pads or possible front end failure not good .
happy now of for a ride .
