Hi there good people...

My new Superglide has some vibration issues...? 

When i brake whie downshifting (fairly hard braking ) i get some shuddering , which is intermittant and not always there...

had my first service today and the Mechanic checked my Front wheel bearings and checked my front wheel balance and it all seems good...

Any ideas what i am feeling here .... it only seems to do it with the bike in gear, decelerating under braking and mainly while downshifting ?

Really need to know a bit more here before a valid comment can be made DM,

What bike did you ride before Harley?

How long you been riding Harley?

What road surface you on?

What tyre pressures you running?

What's shuddering, front end or rear?

Harley just done first service, so do you consider it's run-in yet?

Try and fill the gaps so we can read between the lines a bit .

 I'm wondering that if the brake pads were contaminated with oil or grease they might cause shuddering?

Maybe even consider trying a harder grade set of pads.
