When I got my bike serviced the other day I got told it'll need a rear tyre in around 1000km. The tyre is the original Dunlop and only done 8000km so far, a lot of it 2 up riding.
I've done a search through the forum but hven't really found an answer to which tyre to go for. I'm currently considering a Metzler Marathon White Wall.
Just curious as to peoples opinions on them, or any suggestions to other white walls suitable for the Softail.
I have to admit I expected a bit more than 9000km from a rear tyre.
9-10k not bad for a rear tyre, sport bikes expect t o get 6-7k, just changed my Dunlop white wall to Metz, don`t forget to check chain and sprockets, if you want cheap and economical transport buy a Falcon
