    Hey all,

I've been on the forum for a while, mostly trying to decide which sporty to get... well..

I just picked up my brand new 2012 Sportster 48 in deep blue pearl from Robbos in Canberra.

These are the first couple pics I've taken on the iPhone.

I found it hard to get a decent picture of a 48 in Deep Blue Pearl anywhere on the net, including the HD websites which actually show the colour totally wrong, so I'll post up some more ASAP.

Got the edge cut shifter peg and grips on, but the footpegs are on backorder, as are the V&H big radius pipes in chrome (also hard to find a pick of one of them on the net on a 48).

Five ten hour dayshifts at work starting tomorrow will be a real drag...

Also just picked up my new 48. I didnt go with robbos because they made me feel like just another tyre kicker. So I went to capital hd in orange and they were amazing, great service and great prices on other stuff, much cheaper than robbos and thats with getting them to post it to me in yass

Yeh, great riding around yass, wee jasper etc on tar or dirt with the chook chaser. Good riding out towards young and harden too.

Twas me! Thought you might be the guy on here that got his from Capital.

To my knowledge there were two blue 2012s for sale and one as display model.

Don't know bout you but I was aching Sunday! Stock 48s are not long distance bikes!!

I did just over 300kms on saturday for the ride and didnt feel any thing, maybe it was the amount of times i had to get off and refuel or my boney arse just fits a 48.

If you feel like a ride at some time let me know, a couple of mates on Dynas are also keen.

Nice very nice, just picked up 2012 Iron in the same colour. was set on getting the black denim, but when i saw the 48 i ask Tom at Brunswick city harleey if the iron came out in the same colour and as soon as he said yes i ordered mine. Love how at different times of the day the bike transforms from a dark almost black to a bright blue.
