You know I would have the biggest range of ADR Approved Custom Lights in the country listed on vpw.com.au, and there is a good discount for the Forum Members. I carn't see the point of fitting Second Hand HD Parts on a custom build Bike then removing them after the Bike is Passed. I also have ADR Braided Brake Lines and Speedos

Sorry to hear you had dramas - hope the rest of the time away was great

Whilst I am waiting on my engine and tyres to arrive I will be looking into brakes - I have a old wrecked gsxr I might drag out and check it out otherwise a trip to the wreckers and see what I can come up with

As for emissions - its no biggy to get it tested - if it passes is another thing

It's got me stuffed why they want a Emissions Test for a ICV, Here is the ADR ICV Check list, and there is no mension

I think the Engineer is cofused with a requierments for a Production Bike ADR, as they must meet Emissons. but it is not for a ICV

    Hey walka
If only Peter would Engineer it for me
I will quiz my engineer when I chat to him next

Rigid 300 rear not many would even give me a look in
The check list is great - makes it easier

Sounds good!! how have you been going with the engineer? Im very new to the custom motorcycle scene although ive worked with custom cars/minitrucks for years now and worked very closely with engineers i just wanted to know what kind of corespondence do you keep with them?? ie step by step build photo's,visits from engineers etc.
    Thanks
    Andrew

I have had my initial meeting with him but that's it
We discussed what I'm trying to achieve and he advised me to download the icv checklist and stick to that
I basically have a pile of parts and once I get most of what I need I will call back and see him prior to assembly
Proof of where it all came from and so on
I found it no diffent to the dealings I've had with other engineers about car mods
