I have a 91 Electra Glide that has been stripped of most of the stuff like box fairing etc. so it looks like a road king. The problem being I cant go to the shop and ask for a luggage rack as its sposed to have the box.

Do,s any one know if the rear of the bike is the same as a 94 road king and weather I can adapt parts to fit from the Road King. As you can see I already have a road king back rest.

 

 

Now I don't know a lot, given that I've been a Harley owner for 3 weeks, purchased '03 RoadKing. But Mt early research suggests that roadkings use the same frame as an Electra glide. So if I was you I'd just buy the rack, and if it doesn't fit just chop it up and weld it till it does. The worst that can happen is you'll just have to get it re-chromed. I guess it's easy for me to say, as I've got a welder, but for me it's a 50/50 bet, it'll either fit or won't.
