has anybody else had this problem
dealer in north west nsw has now had my 07 electraglide for over 5 weeks for some warranty work
every time i ring the excuses range from "waiting for parts" "sorry ordered wrong parts" latest one is "sorry we are too busy to put it together"
what the hell do ya hav ta resort to ta get ya bike back?............
yeah this latest excuse of bein too busy is crap and i have rang harley davidson .
they said they would ring dealer and try and resolve the problem, but i have been informed that the bike will finally be ready on 31/10
heres hopin i get the glide back and will be lookin around for a new auth. hd dealer if i need one
thanks for the tip on warranty extending, will certainly be asking for that.
have ordered the workshop manual and wont be using a dealer for anything else other than a major warranty problem
can anyone recommend a good mechanic/dealer if i need one?
Gday. I can't recomend a repairer but may be I can save someone from heart ache. Although HD USA has a code of conduct/business Protocoll. HD Australia has not and infact regard their authorized dealers/repairers as franchises[ quote from craig from HD Australia @ 11.30 am on the 16/10/07 ] and therfore unless your bike is under warranty your on your own. So realy it doesn't matter where you take your pride and joy as long as you get everything in writting and photos would help too. Diggs
