Hi guys have taken the stock screen off my 07 glide and put a 7 inch wind splitter on looks good but getting helmet buffeting at highway speeds .The standard screen was a bit better but top of screen was right at eye level so was always looking over or under. Do I go taller or shorter? Have a 3000km road trip coming up and I am trying to sort it out beforehand Your comments and experience would be much apprecciated Have only just got back into touring after 25 years off bikes.

Cheers ozrider ,what screen are you running on your glide?

I'm 5'10" and have a 10" screen on mine. If I sit up very straight, I can see over the top in rain etc, but sitting normally in a semi crouched position I look just under the top with only a minor hint of distortion at times if I worm around a bit. Go for comfort , fuck the look. I've got a big trip later this year and know exactly what you are thinking about. I'm going for a higher screen , rider back rest, highway pegs, MP3 plugged into the radio (plus two ibuprofen and a can of mothers twice a day). I'm older and arthritic....
