I'm all set to go with Ikons on my rear and have been in touch with Geoff down there. I figured while I was doing that, I might do the front too (get rid of the bangs on the bigger bumps around here).

So I'm fairly confident I know what I'm doing with the rear shocks, but are the front ones much more difficult to change yourself? Am I really only going to be able to change just the springs, or am I supposed to be getting a whole front end? Or... something?

piece of piss damo just take the weight off your front wheel remove from forks, think you have to take your bars off? undo fork tube cap and release spring you  will need a wire hook to reach spring let it drain well pull out and replace with ikon pros the ikon come with a instruction leaflet so pretty easy, good luck

yeah. like 666 said, but crack your fork nuts before taking them off the bike, much easier than fighting it with it clenched between your knees or fucking it with a vice.
