what have forum members been done for by the cops or mainroads eg bars too high , too wide or front end too long etc.

the reason Im asking is because I was out for a ride yesterday when a mainroads ute went past the other way stoped then turned around and followed me .It was a  couple of cars back by then so I took of then I was talking to a mate who started to tell me what they could do you for things I had never heard about.eg not correct numbers on inicators and lights, width of bars etc.

i phoned the pricks a few weeks ago and got no answers about width of indicators, location of rego sticker, size of mirrors - they will fine you but won't provide any info when you ask - i have looked on-line and can't see anything they specifies what makes a bike unroadworthy - if anyone has a link then i'd like to check it

Join UMCQ then you can ask as many questions as you like. I got a great email the other day about ape hangers and how they are to be truly measured, bloke got off a ticket with his 20" bars.

i think your insurance company might want disclosure of some modifiactions - for my insurance i told them i had a big bore kit and hot cams and they stated that on my policy
