How ya all doin. Been following this forum for about eight months now, not much else to do when ya deployed with the Army overseas for seven months at a time, other than staying up all night to pester my local HD dealer (at a respectable hour that is) about when my new bike would arrive.
Anyway the names Dan but me mates call me Ferret. Originally from Sth Oz (Whyalla) but liv'n in Darwin, for the second time, but heading to Victoria at the end of the year. Look'n forward to the roads to ride but not the colder months.
Oh yeah, should say I've just bought a XL1200N in black.

before opening this thread I'm thinking... Ferret... mmmmm.... gotta have a sportie....
welcome mate and hope that the wait for the bike is painless.... and that you enjoy wearing thermals

G'Day Ferret, will be up your way in two weeks time. Looking forward to the heat.
Regards Bob. Ex 5/7th Battalion RAR
Welcome aboard ferret , Vic the place to be( unless your in qld on holidays)
Hey ferret,
welcome aboard..
I was just up your way for the V8 races a few weeks ago... love it up there

welcome to nuthouse ferret
Cheers all for the welcome.
This place can't be as bad as the animal house I'm liv'n in at the moment. An 18 month old who hasn't seen me for seven months and won't leave my side and screams her guts out if I do, plus the woman whose still pestering me for more. I thought this might die off after a couple of weeks but now its starting to interupt my plans for riden the bike. Such is life.
I'll get a piccy or two on here once I work out what I'm doin. Computers don't rate too highly on my resume.
Dan
Welcome Ferret,
A new Harley makes a trip worth it, wouldn't you say. Done the same thing myself. Enjoy the move south.
Welcome Ferret from bloody hot Ballarat.
Welcome Ferret, welcome !
new bike buyers tip: don't ride like a clown like me on the 2nd day of ownership and get chased by the walloper's!!
