Thinking of buying a 2011 Blackline while the price is right.

Who's got one? Apart from price reduction issues are you happy with it?

Would of thought waiting for the 2012 Blacklines due in Sept would be the best option now. The 103 motor will be good. Either way waiting til the 2012 models come out mayt change your mind to the 2012 model or let you get a 2011 at even lower prices.

I did have a ride on a demo Blackline and thought it was OK except I did not like the handle bars at all.

Definately budget for a set of bars. Novelty wears after a while (and long pucking rides).

Other than that, they are the duck guts.

I don't think you can change the handle bars, the triple clamps aren't the same as the softail and the holes for the handlebars are different.

Yeah you can. HD have a set out with more rake and width. Burleigh bars have just released a few sets as well. You have to replace all applicable cables though as they end up too short. Not cheap. Have first born on ebay atm to generate funds. Always prefered a skinny arse myself. Not into barge arses....
