Bike pickup and delivery across states

    I've been thinking of buying a project bike and was wondering if I bought interstate (most likely scenariod) who would be a good service to pick up the bike and deliver it to SA.  Am looking at a bike in Sydney but would need a service to pick it up from there and deliver it to Adelaide?

    I wouldn't want to pay more than $500.

    I have my ute on dedicated LPG KC, I drove to Sydney and back to pick up my new trailer and it cost me $190 in gas. We could do it in one weekend.

    if the bike is roadworthy, what about a forum tag team ride, first rider picks it up & rides it to the next member, etc etc etc till ya get it home.

    I've seen it done with a 4wd after a club member was badly injured up cape York, members gave up their time & got it home in a week.
