Headlight Assembly Removal

    Guys,

I'm the proud new owner of a headlight grill from Rough Crafts and eagerly awaited to install it last night. I though it would be a straight forward job but have a problem with removing the wiring loom from the headlight case (the grill is in two pieces, grill on the front and surround that goes over the back of the case and they screw together. Nice and neat but a pain as the whole assembly has to come off).

I have pulled the light and associated parts out but am stuck with removing the wiring loom. I'm guessing you can either:

    - cut the wiring where it connects to the globe and thread the wiring back through the rubber grommet

    or

    - lift/remove the tank to see if the wiring has a plug i can disconnect

I'm guessing one of you has removed the headlight assembly from their bike before......

    Any advice would be great.

    Thanks

    Rik

I just unplugged the headlight under tank after cutting cable ties

then unbolt the headlight and slip it over

its fiddly but only takes 10 mins

i love the look of it though !

    Looks great man!
Looks like you went for the RC air filter too eh?

So does the stock headlight globe fit inside the Rough Crafts shell and grill cover?
