Scar I did a BH ride from where I live in Gippsland Vic in 2006 and had a ball. Wouldn't mind a run up there again. Can't recall the name of the pub we stayed but it was bike friendly, inexpensive, good food and the dancin' girls that started the show at 11pm were fine-- AND the publican let us put the bikes in his lock up behind the pub.

BH is a good position to meet up with others coming in from elsewhere as well. Post again before your ready to roll and I'll try to get up there.
