Hi Guys

I have just bought two bikes in South Africa (went over in April for bike week Africa, what a great event!

I have applied for the Import permit into Australia (they are both pre 1988 so shouldnt be any problems... ) in the process of getting a quote for the shipping, going to cost approximately $1500. 00 to export both of them in a  6m2 crate

I’m not sure about  the process...getting them out of South Africa, de-registering, permission for exporting from authorities etc,

Has  anyone on this forum exported cars or bikes from S.A or knows of anyone who has...

Any help would be appreciated :-)
