Hey Fella's,

anyone got a late model softail deluxe and running a Le Pera bare bones solo seat,

just wanting some feedback, and a pic if possible, bought a Badlander a while back and its great, but want a solo seat aswell, thats lower

than the stock one, so any info ,help, advice, suggestions appreciated.

                     I got a Badlander on my softail custom, love it,  but I was also thinking along the same lines. Ive got one for the softy, more comfortable than the stock seat....
Should be able to get a good price at the moment, only paid
about $280.00 new for mine 3 or 4 months ago...

I've got a Le Pera Sorento, good seat one piece with pillion,got it from Dennis Kirk.

I got the Le pera 'Bare Bones' solo gel seat for my Softail & love it, sits a lot lower & more comfortable than i thought it would be.

Was ahout $320 AUD delivered from US. Probably cheaper now.

Yeah just got a price from the US for the seat in Leather, about $AUD280 inc postage.....

or i can buy it from an Eastern States Dealer , for wait for it....$AUD 665 for the leather 765 for the leather ,Gel

Keen to go with the Le Pera Bare Bones on my Deluxe (05).. so watching this thread.. with much interest..!?

Keen to know where to get it from.. and price's..?

Also... would need something to tidy up (hide) all those bolts holes..!? Maybe something like the leather strap or the like you see in the YouTube Vids..!?

I thought it was a little more comfy than the bare bones and liked the fact that the back is a little more rounded rather than the straight edge of the BB

Thanks mate.. yep.. goes to the seat... and assuming that's a generic picture as I can't see the two tabs that lock the seat down at the back..!? Looks good tho'.. and a very healthy price..!?

Although.. with my fucked back.. might have to look for the Gel version..!? Won't do a great deal.. but it's got to be better then the one without..!?

Also need the bits to tidy up all those bloody bolt holes.. if I remove the standard seat..(ie: rear seat and rack)!? Maybe a leather strap.. or some sort of plug/s..?

Will be keen to see how your's looks once you get it and put on..!? Look forward to photos..!? Please..?

 I figured out what happened i posted the Link originally and ii only went to the "search" then i clicked on it and realised what it did, then edited the post with a new (correct) link, you must've got straight on there before i fixed my fuck-up, sorry dude,

Ordered the Seat ,went with the non GEL version,as i found the  gel one much firmer, and as i dont have any back problems ...yet, maybe i will after using the bare bones huh?.... now i am  spewing i missed the 1.10   exchange rate  ( how quickly we get spoilt ...haha) , bought it at 1.07, which worked out to 1.04, should be here in a few weeks.

Hey chops, i bought a rear leather bib from Peter Stevens AND WAIT FOR IT >>>>>> $120 bucks later, jesus i almost shit, but its better than trusting someone to rub it down, bog it up and hope like fuck it all match's beautifully like the original paintwork. Im to paranoid to leave it to chance so i blew the coin.

                                Got one for a mate and it looks shit hot on the bike and is a very comfy ride posi for around town .
