Gday everyone. Thought I would finally sign up on here. Been a lurker for over a year now and visit the U.S HD forum a bit. A mate of mine I ride with convinced me to get on board.
Yet another Iron 883 owner, bought it new last Sept and can't stop riding it. Put nearly 14000kms on her and loving it!
Just put her all back together today, had a small scratch on the rear fender I wasnt happy with and not riding for a week it killed me. Couldnt wait for thrashing it today with a mate of mine.
No crazy mods, just the usual, screaming eagle slip ons with buckshot covers, HD black denim derby and primary inspection cover (why they went with these polished aluminium bits on this bike is one of lifes mysteries), side mount plate and the usual flipped mirrors.
No plans for stage 1 ect, id just get a nightster or 48 if I wanted to go bigger and better. If anyone needs advice on mounting the sidemount (the real HD one not the cheap repros) let me know becasue ive done it all twice now.
Seems like a good forum with good people and cool bikes
