I have them fitted to my Ultra Limited, best thing side canned beer. I did a ride from Adelaide to Wollongong 12 months ago, and could only have them set on "2", otherwise they got too hot.

    Cheers,

Fitted HD heated grips to my partners Sporty, she really loves them and uses them often. When I put her bike away after riding on a cold day or night they are still warm and toasty. Very neat in the way they are setup with a rotary dial on the end of the left grip to adjust the heat settings.

I had them on my bike but removed them as they gave me Pins and needles on rides. Nothing to do with the heat but just the grip itself. When I used them they worked very well. Some have had troubles with them packing up after a few months. But they do work well on a cold morning...

I have a product called Heat Demons and they are not warm enough for me. I have been looking at the genuines but need to know if you can run the wires through the bars? My bars are all wired internally and I want to keep the clean look.

    Cheers

The genuine ones arent compatible with internally wired bars.

I've just bought a set for my street bob, and I will have an external wire running down the bars to allow them to integrate into the loom. I guess its the price you pay for functionality.
