Yes mate, I'm aware of Crazy Cavan, Marty Wilde etc.
I've played in a backing band for Graham Fenton from Major Matchbox and have a Pommy mate, Darrel Higham, who is a rockabilly fiend in today's scene......a few other mordern rockabilly bands too.
I played at the 'Americana' festival in Nottinghamshire, England in '05. That festival is massive. Great time.

Cheers Beeza, if you can't make Greazefest, you've gotta make it to the Wintersun festival held at Coolangatta. It's a lot bigger and better in my opinion.
I know about Screaming Lord Sutch but not real familiar with his songs. I heard he appeared on stage by coming out of a coffin.

Geez, you blokes must be old.....Marty Wilde, Billy Fury, Billy J Kramer, Adam Faith etc etc.

Sc' Lord Such was an early 60's Alice Cooper. There were some mad bastards around in those days.

Was a Shepherds Bush boy then....LOL

You might be thinking of Hammersmith Palais, on a massive roundabout (one way), only a little way down Shepherds Bush Road........

    Thanks for the link, KD.
I'm also a Cramps fan. Seen em live a coupe of times.
    Also a big Psychobilly fan.
I also like the more traditional players like the ones you mentioned. (Johnny Burnette has been a favourite of mine for a long time)
Wanda Jackson was just out here in Oz, playing at the Wintersun festival. She still goes ok for an old duck..........

How about the Mustang bar in Perth, Beeza? I heard that was a regular rockabilly haunt......

Yeah, I know, Beeza. Monday night isn't real good for checking out bands.
Going by their website, that's the night they have rockabilly on.

The people who own that Mustang bar, started one in Brisbane a few years ago now.
It used to be really cool. They got all styles of live 'roots' music in there on most nights.
That's until they realise the money is in the younger kids so they made it into more of a rave nightclub.
It's a shame, it was a good spot.
