Just heard that Ken wootton the former editor of AMCN died on the 26/07 . He may not have been a Harley tragic but he has been a passionate advocate for all things motorcycling for more years then I can remember . He recently took up writing articles for HOG magazine and was always a character doing PA announcements at the australian GP. RIP WOOSE.

I hadn't heard that...... Yep he was a bit of a tool, but was passionate about bikes and could punt a bike pretty hard on the track, even raced roaring sporties when I was racing a few years ago.

    RIP woose

Yeah I've gotta agree he seemed a bit of a tit at times but there's no doubting his love of all things bike. We seem to be losing a few bike journo's lately Woose/ Smith etc must be a generational thing but I find most of the newer mob pretty well personality free with a few exceptions. Once Roothy and groff give it away I will probably stop reading most mags.

Nah man ,I heard on RPM it was over in one of the eastern block countries so I would assume it was an accident. It will be in this weeks issue of AMCN I would guess.

    RIP Woose,

Was a real blow to get that news when I walked into the office last Tues. Was a good Editor to work with, always passionate about his products and supportive of the people who worked on them.
While not a die hard HD fan, the first bike I ever saw him on when he started at Motorcycle Trader was a 2010 Ultra Classic, and the first work I saw on his desk was actually for HOG magazine.
Thoughts are with his sister, the rest of the family and the crews at AMCN and Motorcycle Trader.
