Hey all, hoping someone here can answer what dealers & 'specialist' part suppliers cant: Will any FXDL (Lowrider) tanks fit a 1994 FXDS Convertible? I believe the FXDL has a different rake so I'm not sure if that affects the tank mounting. 

Essentially, I would like to move the gauges from the handle bars to the tank, as per the FXDL below.

I have seen a lowrider tank on a '97 FXD so assume this should be a straight swap (although I reckon there was a change in '96). The problem is I need to supply my repairer with a part number as the bike is being repaired by the insurance company. 

I'm not concerned with originality so it wouldn't matter if the tank was aftermarket.

Any suggestions????
