Ok boys and girls .. we have a few riders here in the corrupt state of nsw now

we are all busy with family work and other crap but we should get some rides going

the hard thing for everyone is finding a date that suits so lets get some prior planning going and start putting some dates up that people can make ...once we know potential dates we can start planning around them

    Heres mine:

    August                   Sept                 Oct                    Nov

    9 / 10                      6 / 7                  4 / 5                   1 / 2

    23 / 24                    20 / 21              18 / 19             15 / 16

So they are the weekends I can make it. I have put up a mail about potential meeting points

Let us know what dates suit and we can start moving from there

    Paul

mate we have two ex's to manage ... bloody hard ... plus we have a tribe ... 5 kids between us, only 3 involved in movements tho

could make other dates as well, but at the moment I enjoy breathing and I know that would change real quick if I made the brave but foolhardy decision of going on a child weekend hahahaha

in saying that ..if a get together was organised that included family, then any weekend would be ok for us

ok folks ..due to Bano's net connection playing up he asked me to post the following:

    Centennial Park

If we have more than 50 people, the authorities require us to make a booking - $60 .. the money side is not the issue here, it is the timing. For the 24th August we need to make the booking no later than this Monday, 28th July.

So can anyone and everyone interested in turning up, post up probable numbers by monday so we can see if we need to book. If we dont book and have 50 or more people attend, the rangers can and will fine us ... gotta love NSW

Electric BBQ's are there, but it might be worthwhile one or two members bringing a portable BBQ as well given that the electric BBQ's are open to everyone at the park

For me it will be just two, the wife and I

    Total People = 2

I doubt we will get 50  ( we are the slack state of NSW and have trouble to get 3 people out for a ride  ;)

I will be there with my family of 5...

Crikey it sounds like there is ALOT of kids involved! I'd be keen to drop by just to say g'day and meet some riders. Put me down for 2 please.
Ps. Note from my experience the BBQ's there are both overcrowded and crap. (the one down towards randwick racecourse opposite the horse jumping paddock would probably be your best bet - its near the kids cycling track too which is probably handy for all you family types!)

    Superglide,

Do you know a better spot in the city or close by that would be good for a BBQ ?

Guy's not sure what it called, but just near the Olympic center at Homebush, there is a large area we have visited once before with friends, not sure if there were BBQ facilities available.

Other sites, North head ? or just after the mechano set off the Hume on the way to the aerodrome on the right ? or Fagan park out at Galston ? or out at Wisemans ferry ? or anywhere else we can think of.

I hope to be there, I have found out that I finish work at 07.00 on the Sunday morning, but have to be back at work at 15.00 in the arvo, yep just 8 hours of between shifts, so pencil me in but I may be on my own, no family as SWMBO won't drive into the city if I ride.

Sorry. I dunno of anywhere that's particularly better than centennial.

There is a couple of BBQ's / huts down at south Maroubra that have good access etc.
Dunno not really my thing but whenever I've ridden past these BBQ's all have 30 member families swarming all over them.

Such a saga - BUT I respect that you family blokes make the effort.
Can't we just drive up to Wisemans Ferry and order a snitzel!? (joke! joke!)
