    Odd that Brittany Spears (sp?) got control of her life taken away from her in the US, but in the UK Amy Whinehouse was allowed to spiral into nothingness - I wonder what the laws are here? I think when someone is that wealthy they should freeze their assets and use the money to make them healthy again.
    Drugs fuck you up if you can't keep control of it - no matter who you are.

    I used to get annoyed just looking at her; this was always gonna be the outcome and I don't think anyone is surprised she's gorn. She had a big voice for such a tiny woman and it's a damn shame she's wasted that talent.

    Long line of musicians to die at 27, Janis Joplin, Jimmy Hendrix, Kurt Cobain and Amy Winehouse (I think there is one more, just cant remember who).

    Those Music legends mentioned earlier, those that died at age 27 and to which Amy has now been added, puts the whole circus into the 'celebrity' realm. But I saw her Mum and Dad on the telly tonight. They were thanking her fans for turning up at the temporary shrine in the street outside her house. 

    Dad was doing the talking and Mum was crying. Seeing them two and hearing their East Ender accent brings it back to reality; just another Mum & Dad having to soon bury their child. 

    She's a 'Rock Star' to many, but a daughter to those two.

    I for one will miss Amy's beautiful voice.
    Damn shame....she was just startin to get her shit together til she got tangled up with her ex b/f again.....he is the one who deserved to die IMO.
