The same thing happend to me, I bought a new 2011 WIDEGLIDE in march for $29895 and in july HD sent me a letter saying they were reducing the price of a new WIDE GLIDE by $3200 and would I be interested in purching one, so I see your gripe HDee.

I too had to wait till I was 53 before owning a HD, had trumpys and dukes before but couldnt be happier now, price realy has nothing to do with it , you own a HARLEY DAVIDSON !!!!!!!!!!     

just found out the price has dropped even more from $28000 to $23999 so what would the bike be worth if i wanted to sell it now.i was talking to a bloke who just bought a 2007 standard with 20000ks from the shop for 23500 then finds out the new blackline is 500 more a short time after. how do you think that poor bugger feels.HD HAS A LOT TO ANSWER FOR

I can't believe anyone is worried about what their Harley is worth once they have it.

Have spent an additional 5K on Bling and stil think its the best buy I have ever made.

be happy with what you have and dont look back. i bought a 06 1200c and its not the biggest or badest bike but its mine and im not giving it up, i alway got told if you buy something dont go looking for the same thing a week later as someone always does it cheaper.

FWIW I'll be 50 next month, I'm doing whatever I can right now to give myself the birthday present of my life!

Would it make you feel worse if I said I paid 20k ride away for my blackline on the weekend.....
