Mickl, I swapped the pegs on my 2011 FatBob from forward to mid.  As has been said already you need to obtain all the hardware from a mid mounted bike.  I got a set of controls that were dealer take offs (US e-Bay) and also the outer primary case.  I also got a US spec exhaust system off a Street Bob (no flappy valve crap) off e-Bay too.

I had to buy a new inner primary from Luke at HH as nobody had one that they were willing to sell.  Not many people going mid to forward bother to change the inner as it is not necessary.  To go the other way you have to change it as the forward one does not have the hole through it for the gear shift shaft.

I did the swap myself in the corner of an apartment block car park as I have no garage.  It really isn't that tricky to do at all.
