Planning a 3 week ride to Cooktown (from Far South Coast NSW) in a couple a years time. .........Yeh, I know, nothin like plannin ahead!
Anyway, I have a lot of the route planned already, but need advice on the best route to take between Uralla and Rocky. Hoping some forum members that ride in that those parts of the world could chip in with ideas!
Like the twisty stuff more than long straight stuff but appreciate that we don't always have a lot of choice.

Burto: The Mundubbera - Monto - Biloela stretch is an excellent choice..... from Biloela i would recommend head east toward gladstone, great ride......compared to north to Dululu which is as boring as bat shit....which is pretty boring!!!!
[edit].....BTW, while in the Cooktown area, make your way to Helensvale ( i think, its about 23k's south ) to the Lions Den Hotel.....great bush pub equal to NT's Daly Waters pub.
