If you have a look on the Progressive Suspension web site, that might give you a starting point.

I put 11" 940's on the back of our 48 and they don't do a bad job.

i got Ikon 11" rears, they have shock adjustment and spring preload adjustment, they work great for me, you also need to take how much weight you will be putting onto the bike before you order anything, speak to Ikon and let them know what you are after and what weight you will be putting on the bike...

I've got the HD 2 Up 11' springs on my Iron, I liked them for a while but its faded and I am no longer a fan.........................they look great; however I have really struggled getting the adjustments right for handling. They're either too spongy or I go the opposite and they're that stiff I bounce around corners!! I've been combing eBay for a air ride set from a Streetglide, the come in at 11.5' and are fully adjustable. Found a really good thread on XL Forum regarding the installation of the air valves and when I can find a set for the right price, I think it will be the way I head.

Rocky, how do you find the handling with the progressive prings?

Spend the extra and get the Ikons, they will make them to suite your weight etc, from bikes to cars you should never buy anything off the shelf, have it made to suite your weight, driving style etc.... anything that is just "off the shelf" is just a guess or near enough, the line between near enough and dead is thin, for a few more $ is your life worth it? Mine is.

Stock height on the iron is 13 inches, I have lowered mine to 11 inches with progressives 430 which has th edge cut end caps which suit thecHD grips and pegs. Delivered from US approx$415 with heavy duty spring. I personally like the rigid hard tail feel.
