Hi all, this is my 1st post on this forum, just discovered the HD forty-eight and it is a beauty. I hope to get one on day but back to the topic:

I just called by local Fraisers and they've informed me that i would have to put a deposit down and get in the queue, a queue that is 4 months long!!!!

To add to it, if i placed a deposit today i would get a 2012 model as they won't be making 2011 then...

im in syndey, is this true around the rest of australia? are 48's that hard to come by?

 

i would love to get one in the next 6 months (have to convince the wife first), but im still staggered at the 4 month wait for one...

 

these look like great forums, have had plenty to read about the 48 & sportsters in general.

After I thought there were no irons there were two in griffith new check them out great service.

i think Blacktown HD have a 48..might be gone now. worth checking it out.

I've had a deposit down for 6 weeks and am still expecting to wait another 4-6. There seem to be a few on the floors around the place if your willing to either travel or transport.

A few months back I asked at Harley Heaven in Melbourne and it as the same, a 4 month wait.
