New grips and brake light

    Hi all,

I know there has been posts on this but mine is a bit different.

I put new grips on and initially tightened the throttle housing too tight and the brake light was staying on.

I then loosened it and it switched off and worked correctly but after a couple days it started sticking back on again.

Now I've tried finding a happy medium between tight and not too tight so the brake light stays on but can anyone give me any tips with whats going on here.....I know there is a plastic tab that I should be looking out for etc. but dont' really know what I'm looking for.

Any pointers on what I've done wrong would be helpful !

    Thanks all.

yep i did exact same thing all in a rush to get new grips on and snapped the nib off the brake light switch or youve pinched the wires  , pull the switch housing apart and check for any loose bits eg plastic nib floating around if its the wires you will have to slide the outer cover on the harness back from the switch housing and check for any damaged wires and repair good luck pretty easy to do both fuck it and fix it ha
