G/day I just bought a BDL primary belt drive and clutch kit EVB-3T-4 for my 77 shovel got the full kit but no instructions, I've allways run chains, so am unsure about the aligment procedure? is it just the same as a primary chain measured from the inner case and if anyone has run one did they have trouble with overheating and breaking the belt if they ran it enclosed. ( Tried BDL's website but they just ignored me ). While I'm at it does anyone know of an aftermarket or Jap front caliper that will fit in a narrowglide front end with a 21" wheel. Sydney drivers are getting worse and my old single pot front caliper is just not cutting it anymore.

Thanks Ill go with that and the info from Ultima. Ive used the straight edge before with chains, I just wanted to make sure there was no special distance for a belt.
    Failure is not an option
