Hey mate, did you get it done, i am looking at doing this what exactly do I need to order (parts) i know there is a list from original post but people have changed a few items here and there and would like to know what the best setup will be ,and how much it cost you at the end.
What is better, oldman upgrade or install progressive monoshocks in my 48 front end?
I was dead set on the oldman upgrade but now I'm leaning towards the monoshocks
Only issue i have with most aftermarket suspension is its hard to order a spring for your weight. Ask yourself this, how many mechanics and parts peddlers ask you how much you're weight when wearing your riding gear? Not many at all. In my book near enough isnt anywhere near enough. Its either right or wrong. T1
Have you checked the oil and forks in general, years ago I bought a second hand R80 beemer that rode rough but I assumed it was the way it rode.
Did a fork service and found the previous owner had used way too much oil and one of the springs was damaged
