Not having much knowledge in regards to paint and heat tolerance etc I'm wondering if anyone has done or has seen heat shields with pin striping or lettering?

I like a bike without badges (same as cars)  and have been toying with the idea of getting some nice subtle lettering on the heat shields.

Thanks for the feedback guys, couldn't find anything via google. Will try Neo Dutch thanks Chopa. Seen acid etching on jewellery Sonny but it was on silver so would assume it would only stand out on chrome? Ceramic coating them first sound logical eh Flan.

Robo, that's my thoughts. Either red or white lettering with 'Harley' on the top heat shield and 'Davidson' on the bottom one or something aling those lines.
