I think i paid about 450 for my Screaming Eagle Tuner also got the how to cd with the 2011s you need different cables and i think an extra cd

as easy to use by the way for dummies like me

i just put a stage one on my bike got the tuner same time so I am learning as I go , it revamps your ecu and then on the shelf till you add more you can also use it to record runs on your bike to better your tune. I like it

Steve, as you know, i had dramas with a tuner to fit my CVO. Im running tha SEPST, think there is only tha one version,but i could be corrected.My bike came with screamin eagle ventilator air kit, Filthy Phil has one on his bike with a K&N filter, that can only be ordered thru a HDdealer, as tha filter that comes standard is crap, im ordering tha filter tomorrow.

My tuner cost me thru my mechanic mate $460.00, he has tha new cables and tha latest software update cd, once its downloaded on to your ECU, you need to only keep it handy on tha shelf until you add on sumthin else.

Phil gave me tha tip on tha filter, worth thinking about.

you pick the set up from a list
so say you got screaming eagle slips ons and a stage 1 air find it in the list load the map test ride
if you want a better tune you can smart tune will tell you the changes you need to make if any from the map you loaded just need to do a few 15 mins rides with the doggle attached.I got a how to dvd with mine made it easy toi understand, if your not sure get you dealer to load it for you just shop the price around seems every dealer has a different price. by the way love the look of your new bike

Steamer mate, sorry for tha late reply, been truckin, blah blah, u know tha deal, tha $460.00 i paid for my tuner was tha total cost

mechanic i go to has tha latest cables and software cd,didnt charge me for tha installation, only took about 30 secs, once we got tha correct one. Not sure if tha cable/cd is suited for your bike, could well be as its a softail.

Tried ringing him today, forgot he has gone over to tha USA for 3 weeks to visit his daughter in Milwaukee,be back first week in Aug.

Wish i could be of more help, but until i talk to him, i cannot say if tha cables and cd that he has will enable to install a SEPST.

Ive just picked up my street bob, thrown my pipes on with a heavy breather and now need a tuning solution.

I am waiting for a v&h fuelpak to arrive and now im thinking that i well and truly pulled the trigger too early on that one.

Can i ask which dealer is supplying your race tuner kit for under $500? If possible it'd be good to have a total tuning solution available for a decent price.

Only three weeks, and I'll be doing the tune on my Street Bob.

From what people have said in this thread, I've got no hesitation in doing the tune myself. Steamer was right, the SEPST was the one to go for through M&M before Harley's new policy cut that supply off.

Is everyone still happy with SEPST tunes?
