Triumphs new Thunderbird. I thought they would make it look a bit more spectacular, a bit too bland for me.

    I thought basically the same.
A dyna clone but it surely wouldn,t be as cheap looking in the flesh as a jap cruiser????
I also liked it from the back like a lot of women I know also. A bit boring from the side.....

I rekon if they changed the pipes to more horizonal layout and changed the shape of them, ie more tubular instead of cone shaped and changed the wheels to some straight out spoke wheels or alloys it would look good.

    Water Cooled.....mmmmmmmmmmm, Harleys next!!!
Don't like the Exhaust pipes either and spoke wheels would be better.
I will wait until I see it in the shop.

HMMMMMMMM...... sad they called it a Thunderbird... I love the old T-bird... a bigger donk is long overdue, and I like plain and simple, but it's a little bit too metric..... maybe it will grow on me.......

Looks fairly good, but only really the direct takes from our beloved H.D.

And I agree overall it does'nt quite look like the real deal.

Also, there is WAY to much air/gaps/space inside that frame eh!?

I agree with you FLAN. I think the Triumph sports bikes of today are pretty good, however that 1600 looks plastic. Really looked forward to the Rocket 111 till I saw it.

Got to live in the past mate, not much future left....

    Yep, great bike.

Even harder to get right than the old Trumpy though.

The red one belongs to a mate
