I'm in the market for a set of 1 1/4" dia, 6" risers internally wired drag bars for a 2011 FXST. I've checked out the net but it's difficult to tell the quality of the bars from a photo. I'm looking for a bar that has highly polished welds that give a seamless look between risers & bars. My price range is between $250-$350, any opinions would be greatly appreciated!

The street slammers are exactly what i'm looking for except they've got 7" risers, i don't like the look of the bars sitting up to high so i'm going to go with a 6" riser. It should give the bike a pretty aggressive look!

Spero, call the guys at Burleigh Bars. They were pretty accommodating when I was trying out ape's, they even let me take the first set back so they may make a set with 6" rise for you and while they might be a bit exxy they are well and truly worth it, especially with the 7 year guarantee.

Cheers Deadwood, sounds like burleigh bars might be the way to go. I've already checked out their site & I know they make the bars I want with 6" risers, I'll give them a call tomorrow & see what they can offer me..

Cheers Robbo, I almost bought a set of Chubby bars but I've decided to save some more $ & get a set of Burleigh Bars, they're expensive at $500 but from what I'm told & the set I seen at my local dealer they should be worth it.
Did you have to extend your wires for the indicators etc to fit your Chubby bars?
    Thanks for your help, Spero..

I've just ordered 1 1/4" x 6" rise t-bars with chrome cables from Burleigh Bars, i've been quoted 4 hours labour from my local dealer but i'm going to install them myself, i'll post some pics up when i'm done. Can't wait to get them on the bike!!

My Burleigh T-bars are on & look f*#kin awesome! I'm very stoked with them! It's a pretty straight forward job to fit them but a word of advice is to get a workshop manual first! It would've made the job run a whole lot smoother... I'm still waiting on my braided lines so i'll post some pics after i receive them & get them on the bike..
