Can anyone tell me what will happen in the above case with the new Harleys?

Alarm won't de-activate , you need to replace fob battery.

You can by-pass the fob to de-activate alarm by entering the five digit pin number you should program when you set the bike/alarm up.

Turn IGN key to IGNITION and immediately hold BOTH turn switches in until 5 dashes appear in odometer window.

Enter the digits (your PIN) by pressing the left turn signal button,

Move the digit selection by pressing the right turn signal button.

Yeah it's all in the manual, my batteries are both flat at the moment so using the manual method, works well :)

You'll need a grinder and cutting disk to remove your security chain if you forgot your key to the padlock too.

Easiest way as Rider said put a spare battery away some where on the bike.

Best way is change the fob battery every new rego. Works for me and battery is cheap enough.

Me 3, I just changed my fob battery after it lasted over 3yrs. Re-read  the manual, says replace fob batt every year.
