    I like the way you guy's are thinking, i was tryin to think of a good country pub around the half way mark as well, Miles or Chilla would be great, i love riding out to those places, here's some food for thought.......the road between Chilla and miles is great, wide and smooth with big straights, but the pub's at Miles are pretty ordinary IMO, not sure about the accomodation....Chinchilla has a great pub IMO ( THE CLUB HOTEL ) but more importantly it has a newish modern motel attached, bit hexy though i think but the Commercial hotel has budget motel style rooms and is in walking distance, other than that Chilla has umpteen new motels, then there is bro's place if anyone wants to swag it. That said, yes i prefer Chinchilla but just as happy to go to Miles.

    Yeah now i have to eat my words, the windsor at miles looks pretty darn good, will just have to make sure the mine and gas workers havent got everything booked out which is common in a few of them towns.

    Back OT, I'm happy wherever the hell we end up. Need a date set so I can put in annual leave in with the missus. Hopefully it's not between the 20th August and the 5th September

    Anyone know the date for the ride overnighter to comet from rocky and emerald? What dates did you have on mind robo?

    I'm keen even if my roster is wrong. Miles is a bit ordinary but I'm sure we'll be fine as long as we can talk bikes.

    Yep,pretty much anywhere ,dates first before confirming. i'm a happy man  anywhere anytime.

    I'm not that fussed on where we go it takes me 4 hours to go to Rocky or Roma. If you Brissy boys wanna go bush then why not go to Cracow. They have a pub thats it.
