Could anyone tell me whether I can put the exhaust from a FXDF onto a FXDC with mid mount pegs, ie is there enough clearance for the peg/brake pedal to clear the exhaust and still operate correctly.
Should fit Robbo, the Fatbob came out with the option of mids or fowards (in the US only).
The pipes are low enough to allow a midmount footpeg to fit.

On the FXDF there was a different heat shield for the mid mounts and forwards.
Part numbers are:
66840-08 for forwards, and
66841-08 for mids.
The standard one fitted to the Australian market bikes does not clear mid mounts.
The mid mount foot rests are common through the Dyna range, there are no different ones for mid mounted Fat Bobs.
I fitted a system off a Street Bob to my bike when I moved the foot rests. I wasn't a fan of the original FatBob system anyway.
