Hey guys and girls.
Just joined up thanks to my partner's (username: halcyona) recent 2011 Fatboy purchase. This has sparked my interest in riding and alhtough I have no bike as yet, I plan to have one by the end of the week.
Have been doing lots of reading on the forum and elsewhere online trying to learn as much as possible.

Thanks for the Congratulations on the new bike (arrives next week or two)... You on the other hand are probably already over joyed with your 883 Iron (Excellent Choice). I was initially going for the iron but as I have been riding a 2001 Triumph Bonnie (750cc) for a few years I though it was time to go up another level but without losing the style & fun of a smaller Cruiser bike so I guess the 48 was it!
I took my R test on my bonnie after riding it alongside a shadow for a few months and so never bothered with a 250cc...This worked out the best move for me as I got to know it so well and it is a great bike to learn on.
So looking forward to starting her up and off I go (safely). Thanks again for replying to my post, enjoy your Iron 883 and drop me a line anytime.
